🩸 Sunday Screams: Friday the 13th Mask Light Review 🩸By The Nightly Storyteller

🕯️ Monologue

There are nights when even the shadows seem afraid to move—when the silence between the trees feels… watched. Tonight, the air smells like metal and rain, thick enough to taste. The faint hum of electricity runs through the house, like it knows something I don’t. I’ve been restless lately. Sleep comes in short bursts, and when it does, I dream of water. Not calm water—no, this is black, rippling, alive. There’s a mask floating on the surface. It stares back, waiting.

Jason’s face—or what’s left of it—has a way of reminding you that monsters don’t die. They wait. They bide their time beneath the surface, behind the lights, inside the walls.

And tonight, one of those masks sits on my shelf, glowing faintly in the dark.

💀 Friday the 13th Mask Light Review

The Friday the 13th Mask Light is a collectible that feels alive after midnight. The light flickers like an old campfire bulb, bathing the room in a cold, haunted glow. It’s modeled after Jason Voorhees’ iconic hockey mask, detailed with cracked edges, bloodstained grooves, and the kind of aged plastic that looks like it’s seen too many nights at Camp Crystal Lake.

When turned on, the light pulses slowly, almost like breathing—giving it that eerie sense that Jason himself might be waiting just behind it. It’s powered by USB or batteries, so you can place it anywhere you want a little murderous ambiance—desk, shelf, nightstand, or shrine to 80s horror nostalgia.

It’s not too bright, but that’s the point. It’s perfect for those who want a subtle glow while watching slasher marathons, painting miniatures, or writing about cursed objects at 3 a.m.

For fans of Friday the 13th, this isn’t just decor—it’s a warning light. When it glows red, it’s a sign that something might be creeping closer than you think.

Final Verdict:
🔪 9/10 blood drops.
Perfect for horror collectors, night owls, or anyone who knows it’s never safe to go back to camp.

📜 The Storyteller Chronicles

The storm outside had settled into a nervous drizzle. Raindrops crawled down the window like veins of silver. Nyra stood near the bookshelf, her reflection flickering against the faint glow of the Jason mask light.

“We need help,” she said quietly, her voice barely louder than the rain. “Finding out what’s happening to us—it’s too much. I think Rhett Harker might know something. About the other attacks. Maybe even about… our pasts.”

Her words lingered in the air like smoke.

I nodded, the name familiar. Rhett was an investigator—obsessed with the strange, the inexplicable. If anyone could dig through the fog surrounding us, it was him.

I reached for my phone to call him, but before I could dial, it buzzed.

Unknown Number:
You may be in over your heads. Be careful. Be ready to accept the answers you find.

The screen dimmed. My stomach tightened. Nyra’s eyes met mine—wide, uncertain, yet determined.

I hit “Call” anyway.

The line clicked, a few rings, then Rhett’s gruff voice. “Storyteller. I was just—”

A sharp thud cut him off. Then a scraping sound. A muffled shout. Something metallic clattered to the floor.

“Rhett?!” I shouted, gripping the phone. Static hissed through the speaker. Then—nothing. The call went dead.

The mask light flickered. Once. Twice. The room darkened until only Nyra’s trembling silhouette remained in the red glow.

“What are we going to do?” I whispered, my voice hollow.

Nyra turned slowly, her eyes reflecting that ghostly light. “We find him,” she said. “And we face whatever’s waiting for us.”

Outside, thunder rolled across the sky like distant footsteps.

And somewhere—out there—the answer waited.
