π§ The Storyteller Speaks: They’re Real
They were just stories.
That’s what I told myself.
Old celluloid legends. Grainy shadows flickering across late-night screens. Fictional horrors kept safely behind the glow of VHS static and forgotten reels.
But tonight... they stood in front of me.
The Wolf Man, dripping rage. πΊ
Frankenstein’s monster, torn and silent. ⚡
Even the Mummy’s tattered form, dragging vengeance behind every step. πΊ
They’re real.
They came through smoke and fire and storm.
They came for something.
Maybe for me.
Maybe because of me.
And now, as the dust settles and the scientist’s offer still lingers in the air like a poisoned choice, I can’t help but wonder:
Was not choosing... still a choice?
π¬ The Storyteller Watches: House of Frankenstein (1944)
Watching House of Frankenstein always felt like a classic monster mash-up—an ambitious, doomed experiment. A mad scientist gathering the Wolf Man, Frankenstein’s Monster, and Dracula like chess pieces for some twisted master plan.
Dr. Niemann played God, and his creations became his curse.
Now, here in the wreckage of this lab, surrounded by smoke, blood, and echoes—I see it all again.
Except this time, the mad science isn’t on-screen.
It’s chasing me down.
π₯ The Scientist Evolves: Monster Unleashed
“You really thought you could refuse me and walk away?”
The scientist smiled—not with amusement, but with certainty.
He tapped the necklace around my neck once.
The cursed thing hummed like a dying frequency.
And then—he changed. π
His body twisted and expanded. Flesh hardened like armor. Veins glowed like molten wires.
He grew taller, stronger, faster—like something barely human pretending to still wear skin.
Before I could react, he was on me.
A blur.
Then pain.
I hit the ground. Hard.
He didn’t stop.
Each blow landed like punctuation in a sentence written in blood.
Ribs cracked.
My vision blurred.
His voice thundered above me:
“This is the end of your story.” π©Έ
π¦ Val and Danny: The Search for Rhett
Somewhere deeper in the lab, Val and Danny crept through a maze of flickering lights and cold, buzzing corridors.
“Are we seriously doing this with a bat and a busted camera?” Danny whispered.
“I’ve done more with less,” Val muttered, gripping the bat tighter. π¦
Then—a scream.
“Rhett!” Val sprinted toward it.
They reached a hallway lined with locked doors.
Another scream. A pounding fist.
Val didn’t hesitate—she smashed a door handle with her bat until it cracked off.
She grabbed it, still hot from impact, and turned toward the chaos.
And when they returned to the main floor…
They walked straight into hell.
⚔️ Nyra’s Intervention: The Truth Revealed
The scientist stood above me, triumphant.
His boot pressed to my chest.
His hand raised for the final blow.
“This is goodbye, Storyteller.”
Then—impact.
The weight lifted.
Nyra. ⚔️
She slammed into him with fury and precision, knocking him backward across the floor. Blood streaked her arm. Her eyes burned like this moment had always belonged to her.
“You made me,” she spat, breathless but unshaken.
“All of this—everything—it’s because of you.”
She swung.
He dodged.
They clashed like titans in the wreckage.
And me?
Barely breathing.
I dragged myself upright, inch by inch.
𧨠The Final Moments: Dust in the Wind
Val gripped the broken doorknob in her hand like it had been forged for this exact moment. π©
She spotted him—the scientist kneeling on top of Nyra, choking her out again.
I lay behind them, broken. Useless. Watching it end.
As he leaned in for whatever twisted farewell he had left—
CLANG.
The doorknob hit him square in the skull. π₯
That blink of distraction was all Nyra needed.
She surged up, tore the cursed necklace from his chest, and with one final scream, snapped it in half.
It didn’t explode.
It unraveled.
The necklace withered in her hands, collapsing into ash like brittle leaves. π
The scientist gasped as light poured from every glowing vein.
He looked at us—panicked, confused, almost human—for a moment.
Then he too unraveled.
Dust in the wind.
Swept away by the very curse he tried to command.
π―️ The Storyteller Speaks: The Aftermath
The silence is louder than any scream that came before.
The air still crackles—charged, metallic, like the storm never ended.
He’s gone.
The scientist.
Just dust.
But the monsters?
The Wolf Man.
The Mummy.
Frankenstein.
They’re gone too. Vanished into smoke and shadow.
Did they come to save us?
Or were they just part of the unraveling?
And Nyra… she saved us.
She broke the curse.
But at what cost?
The necklace may be gone, but the power... the connection...
It still hums beneath my skin like it’s waiting.
This isn’t over.
It’s just beginning. π€
