🩸 Nightly Storyteller Chronicles – Voices in the Static
🕯️ The Storyteller's Transformation
They say when your body breaks, your mind retreats.
But what if mine didn’t run away…
What if it let something else in?
I see things now.
In reflections.
In shadows that don’t belong to me.
A second heartbeat behind my own.
I’m not sleeping anymore.
Or maybe I’m only awake when the sun dies.
The blackouts are back—but the strange part is waking up stronger.
My skin cracks in places.
Wounds that shouldn’t heal vanish in hours.
And sometimes, when I speak… it’s not my voice.
I used to keep a journal.
Now the pages scream when I write.
I used to fear death.
Now I fear what I’m becoming.
They’re coming.
Not for me—
For what’s growing inside me.
---
📍 Danny’s Discovery
It started with a scream.
Danny had been crashing at my place, checking in when I stopped responding to texts. But that night, I was already on the roof.
He told me later it was like watching a ghost.
I stood there—barefoot, unmoving—staring at the moon, blood trickling down my neck.
He called my name.
Once. Twice.
Yelled. Pleaded.
I didn’t answer.
Then I jumped.
Not like I fell.
Like I floated.
He chased me for a block, but I was already gone.

🩹 Val’s Revelation
Val found me the next morning, hunched on a curb behind an abandoned grocery store. Covered in blood. Some of it mine. Most of it… wasn’t.
She said my body looked like it had been through a war—deep gouges, punctures, shredded skin. But then… she saw it. Some of the wounds were healing right in front of her. Skin stitching itself closed.
That was the moment she stopped calling me crazy.

🔦 The Call to Rhett Harker
Danny didn’t know what else to do.
He reached out to the only person he trusted with the truly weird: Rhett Harker—a reclusive blogger, disgraced journalist, part-time electrician, and full-time conspiracy theorist.
He sent Harker the photos. Audio clips. GPS data.
Harker replied immediately:
> “Meet me. Bring him. Bring Val too.
If I’m right, this is bigger than all of us.”
They found me later that day—barefoot again, sitting on my porch, ash and dirt smeared across my arms like war paint.
They confronted me.
Demanded answers.
I tried. I really did.
But that’s when the phone rang.
---
☎️ The Mysterious Caller – On Speaker
My burner phone—the one that wouldn’t die, even unplugged.
It rang once.
I answered.
I shouldn’t have.
A voice—wrapped in static and dread—whispered three words:
> “They’re almost ready.”
Val yanked the phone and hit speaker.
> “The monsters. The changes. The blood. It’s not random,” the voice rasped.
“You think you’ve been cursed. You haven’t. You’ve been chosen.”
“You think you’re tracking monsters. You’re not.
You’re becoming one.”
“And unless you stop the signal…
you’ll bring them all here.”
Then—click.
No number.
No trace.
Only silence.

🧩 The Pact Formed
That was the moment everything changed.
Danny. Val. Harker.
They didn’t speak.
They just looked at each other.
Then at me.
No more denial.
No more scattered pieces.
Something’s happening.
To me.
To all of us.
And it’s no accident.
The monsters I’ve written about?
They’re not legends.
They’re prototypes.
Echoes. Experiments.
And me?
I’m Patient Zero.

🧪 Next Time: The Bite, the Bar, and the Blood Moon Prophecy
The team follows Rhett’s coordinates—deep into the Mojave—to the ruins of a scorched dive bar.
And buried in the sand… something hums with ancient heat.
The truth?
It’s closer than we thought.
And it has fangs.
