Who’s Behind the Blog?

Some call me Oscar. Others, in darker corners of the internet, might come to know me by a different name: The Nightly Storyteller.
I wasn’t always like this. The transformation began after an estate sale. A necklace. A whisper. A presence in the mirror that moved when I didn’t.
Since then, I've found myself drawn to horror films, haunted artifacts, and curious old books like a moth to an open flame—or maybe like prey to a predator cloaked in moonlight.

This blog documents that obsession.
But also… what it's doing to me.

Urban legends. Vanishing towns. Haunted hotels. I’ll be chronicling the real-world horrors that sometimes feel a little too connected to the trinkets now lining my shelves.

Yes, I collect things. Perhaps… too many things. Statues, figures, cursed-looking dice, and board games with rules that sometimes change overnight. I’ll review them. Display them. Maybe even warn you which ones not to bring home.

Because dread deserves good lighting. Expect a blend of gothic style, Halloween year-round, and décor that might hum softly at midnight.
